Abstract
This volume of Akroterion marks a change in the editorial team. After eight years as Editor of the journal, Prof Christoff Zietsman has resigned following his move from the University of Stellenbosch to the University of the Free State. The members of the Editorial Committee offer their sincere thanks to Christoff for the excellent manner in which he managed the journal over this period and wish him all the best for his new responsibilities in Bloemfontein. I have therefore again taken over as editor of Akroterion, but I am assisted by Dr Sjarlene Thom as Administrative Editor. We are also grateful to Dr Maridien Schneider for the excellent work she does as copy editor. This significantly lightens the burden of seeing the journal into print and helps ensure the quality of the articles.Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
