Abstract
Recently it has been the policy of Akroterion to publish articles for a wider audience in order to promote an interest in the Classics amongst members of the public. Illustrated contributions have helped in working towards this goal. This volume, for instance, features a comparison of the film “300” with the original graphic novel on which the film was based, and also with Herodotus, the primary source for the battle at Thermopylae. It is very gratifying that the article is the work of a young scholar. Stimulating articles from such young aspiring scholars can only benefit and enrich the field of Classical Studies.Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (BY-NC-ND 4.0) that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
